LinkedIn sync is broken

I paid the in-app purchase for the LinkedIn connector. However, there appears no way to set how it sync, and by default it appears to suck in all LinkedIn contacts into my Mac address book. This is *not* what I want to happen — my Mac address book is for people with whom I am actively working with, whereas my LinkedIn network is far broader and extends to colleagues with whom I have no interaction whatsoever. In practice what happens is that my Contacts fill up with hundreds of names I barely know.

All I really want is for Cobook to pull in data from LinkedIn, but only for the contacts already in my address book. I seem to recall that this was possible with the previous version.
